Hello you!

After being offline for 2 weeks it's time to write again. First my own laptop died two weeks ago so that's the main reason why i was offline. Second, i do nothing but working and on the only day off (sunday) i am doing NOTHING. Especially now, because it's puasa (ramadhan) time. The people do nothing after work, sleeping or preparing food for when it's dark. Two weeks left.. I gave up puasa because i don't feel good if i don't eat anything (even it's small like a cookie, but than you break puasa!) but i tried and held on the first two days. Also here they break puasa because they're hungry so it's hard if you want to do puasa and they're eating (i was doing it because i respect them)..
Next saturday two friends will visit me so i am their tour guide voor 10 days haha.. After that it's 20 august so that means 7 work weeks left. Than one week to prepare everything for going back to Holland and on oktober 15th i'll go back to Jakarta for one week. That means i come one week earlier back to Holland (did i wrote it earlier?!).. Actually i think it would be hard to go back, because of the weather (even here it's sometimes cold..), the food (cheese!..) and i don't live anymore on my own.
Further last saterday i didn't work at all. I went to the office from my HRM (human resource manager) to talk about planning this internship. Because they want more students from Europe. So after talking (it was already 10.30) she asked me if i want to see a hindu ceremony (cremation) so i said yes. One of the mothers from my co-worker died so i was curious how they will do the ritual. In my opinion i think hindoeism is the best religion if i had to choose one. The cremation was beautiful to see, no sadness. After the burning part (takes two ours to burn the whole cow) they have a party on the beach with lots of food (which i don't understand because it's not usual to party after someone died i guess).
First they carry the body on a throne, with the wooden cow in front they carry it until the burning spot. With lots of 'Balinese' music (which is really pretty..). On the burning place they cut the upper part of the cow (the back) open and lays the body inside the cow. With lots of food, holy water, jewelry etc. they make the cow closed. After that the burning part will start. Sorry i don't have any pictures of the ceremony because i left my phone in the office (which far away is from the HRM office)... Maybe later. Because i think i will upload more pictures in the end of oktober because of the slow internet connection (you can't even imagine how slow it is).
